Fjern låget ved at holde i håndtaget, dreje i urets retning og løfte låget op - fig. 2 + 3.

Placering af damprist

Anbring dampristen (20) bagest i apparatet som vist på tegningen - fig. 17.

Udtagelse af gryde og påfyldning

Tag gryden ud - fig. 6.

Påfyld madvarer og væske som anvist i opskriften.

Til trykkogning: Bemærk, at påfyldning af madvarer og væske ikke bør overskride mærket for maksimal påfyldning af gryden. Visse madvarer udvider sig under kogning. For disse madvarer (fx tørrede grønsager, kornprodukter, ris osv.) skal du sørge for, at gryden ikke er fyldt op til mere end halvdelen. Ved trykkogning bør gryden altid fyldes op til mindst 20% af dens rumindhold.

Til dampkogning: Fyld vand op til mindst 1/5 af grydens højde (cirka 1200 ml). Vandniveauet afhænger af opskrift og kogetid, men brug aldrig mindre end 500 ml vand. Anbring dampkurven på den integrerede holder eller direkte på grydens bund - fig. 20.

Du kan tilberede mad i gryden og dampe på samme tid.

Under dampkogning skal du sørge for, at maden i dampkurven ikke er i kontakt med låget.

Brug kun køkkenredskaber i træ eller plastic for at beskytte grydens slip- let overflade.

Anbringelse af gryden i apparatet

Tør bunden af gryden af, og fjern enhver madrest fra varmelegemet - fig 7. Anbring dernæst gryden i apparatet - fig 8.

Brug ikke apparatet uden gryde.

Lukning og fastspænding af låg

Kontroller, at pakningen er forsvarligt anbragt på pakningsholderen ved at dreje pakningen i begge retninger.

Anbring låget på apparatet, som anvist på tegningen - fig. 9 (håndtaget skal placeres i stillingen "ti minutter i fire"). Drej det mod uret, til det er spændt helt fast - fig. 10.

Placering af reguleringsventilen

• Anbring reguleringsventilen, og kontroller, at den sidder korrekt . Prikken på sikkerhedsventilen skal være parallel med prikken på siden af reguleringsventilen. Bemærk, at reguleringsventilen ikke falder i hak og altid sidder lidt løst. Kontroller, at sikkerhedsventilen er nede inden trykkogning (dette betyder, at låget sidder tæt) - fig. 11.
