You must specify the LAN settings before connecting the camera to the DVD recorder with DVR.

See “LAN Settings for Connecting to a DVD Recorder with DVR” ( p.173). Check that the camera is turned off.

Connect the AC adapter to the cradle before setting the camera in the cradle

( p.30).

1Plug one end of the LAN cable (sold separately) into the LAN terminal on the cradle and the other end into the Ethernet port or LAN port on the DVD recorder with DVR or the network device port.

The name of the ports on the DVD recorder with DVR may differ according to the model used. If you are connecting the cradle directly to the DVD recorder with DVR with the LAN cable, use a crossover-type LAN cable. If you are connecting via an existing network, refer to the instruction manuals for the connected network device.

2Turn on the DVD recorder with DVR.

The DVD recorder with DVR starts up. Wait a few moments until the recorder is ready to record or play back images.

3Press the LAN button on the cradle.

The camera starts up in LAN mode, and the LAN LED on the cradle lights.
