The printing and other applications for the different image sizes are as follows: 2M : Printing at L or postcard size, etc.

1.2M : Wallpaper on a PC, etc.

0.3M : As an e-mail attachment, etc.

The number of available shots actually displayed will vary depending on the image size and the amount of space available on the drive.

When the still image size is set to [2M], pressing the REC button down halfway widens the area that can be photographed and the screen display changes accordingly. When this occurs, the center of the image may shift. If you

release the REC button or press the button down fully to take the picture and then do not use the camera controls for around 3 seconds, the screen display reverts to its original area.
