IMPORTANT

• For still images shot during video recording, the flash is set to Suppressed flash.

MEMO

•You cannot use the flash while recording video. However, you can use the flash to shoot a still image while video recording is paused (when [REC PAUSE] is

enabled).

See “Pausing Video Recording” p.95.

•When the flash is going to fire, the flash icon on the screen turns yellow when you press the shutter button down halfway.

•When you select [CONTINUOUS RECORDING] or [AEB], the flash setting automatically changes to [SUPPRESSED FLASH].
