D AILY MAINTENANCE

The procedures below will help in maintaining the High h Batch oven. Be sure to use only TurboChef Oven Cleaner. Using any other cleaning products can damage critical parts and may void warranty on those parts. Refer to Figure 60, page 60 to view the Cook Chamber components.

Cleaning Procedures

Step 1: Prepare the Oven for Cleaning.

οEnsure oven is turned off. To turn off oven, press “ON/OFF” Key.

οEnsure Cool Down process is complete. (“Cooling Down” will disappear upon completion.)

WARNING: Possible injury can occur if oven is not allowed to cool properly before

cleaning. do not attempt to clean it until the “Cooling Down” message is off.

Step 2: Remove Oven Rack.

οWash, rinse, and sanitize Oven Rack.

Step 3: Clean Oven Door and Cook Chamber.

οUsing a damp towel, remove food particles.

οIn case of stubborn stain, spray TurboChef Oven Cleaner.

CAUTION: Do not spray or wipe cleaning chemicals onto the Catalytic Converter (See

Figure 60 for a diagram of the Cook Chamber).

οAllow cleaner to penetrate for 5 minutes.

οScrub with nylon scrub pad, if necessary.

οWipe Oven Door and Cook Chamber with damp towel.

Step 4: Reattach the Oven Rack.

D EEP CLEAN INSTRUCTIONS

TurboChef recommends deep cleaning the oven once a month (or more frequently, depending on use) to ensure optimal performance. Be sure to use only TurboChef Oven Cleaner. Using any other cleaning products can damage critical parts and may void warranty. Reference Figure 60, page 60, to view Cook Chamber components.

Deep Clean Procedures

Step 1: Prepare the Oven for Cleaning.

Step 2: Clean and Remove the Oven Door.

οSpray TurboChef Oven Cleaner to break up stubborn stains. Allow cleaner to penetrate for 5 minutes.

οScrub with nylon scrub pad, if necessary.

οWipe down.

Step 3: Remove Oven Rack.

οWash, rinse, and sanitize Oven Rack.

Step 4: Remove Top and Bottom Jetplates.

οFor instructions, see page 55.

οWash, rinse and sanitize the Jetplates and Support Rails.

Step 5: Wipe Oven Exterior with a Clean, Damp Towel.
