TRIGger
The TRIGger command subsystem controls the behavior of the trigger system once
it is initiated (see INITiate command subsystem).
Figure 7-6 shows the overall Trigger System model. The shaded area shows the ARM
subsystem portion.

CAUTION Algorithms execute at most once per trigger event. Should trigger
events cease (i.e. external trigger source stops) or become ignored
(TRIGger:COUNt reached), algorithms execution will stop. In this case
control outputs are left at the last value set by the algorithms.
Depending on the process, this uncontrolled situation could even be
dangerous. Make certain that the process has been put into a safe
state before halting (stop triggering) execution of a controlling
algorithm.
