Caring For Your Microwave Oven
Wipe often with warm, sudsy water and a
sponge or paper towel. The glass tray may be
removed for cleaning. Do not operate the
microwave oven when glass tray is removed for
cleaning. See page 31 for further information
about the tray.
For stubborn soil, boil a cup of water in the oven
for 2 or 3 minutes. Steam will soften the soil.
Be sure to keep the areas clean where the
door and oven frame touch when closed. Use
only mild, nonabrasive soaps or detergents
applied with a sponge or paper towel when
cleaning surfaces. Rinse well.
Product Damage Hazard
Abrasive cleansers, steel-wool pads, gritty
wash cloths, etc., could damage the
control panel, and the interior and exterior
oven surfaces. Use a sponge with a mild
detergent or a paper towel with spray glass
cleaner. Apply spray glass cleaner to paper
towel; do not spray directly on oven.
To clean glass tray, wash in mild, sudsy water;
for heavily soiled areas use a mild cleanser and
scouring sponge. The glass tray is dishwasher-
safe.
