Printer Setup

Before You Begin

Print Mode

Print modes are displayed on the LCD on the front panel of the printer. Print modes should match the media and printer options chosen. Print mode choices are listed in the table below.

Mode	Printer Option	Action

Tear-Off Mode (Default setting)

Peel-Off Mode

Use for most applications.

Use only if printer has the peel option.

Each label or strip of labels can be torn off after printing.

Liner material is peeled away from the label as it is printed. After the printed label is removed the next label prints.

Cutter Mode	Use only if printer has a
	cutter option.
Rewind Mode	Use only if printer has
	the rewind option.

Printer automatically cuts the label after it is printed.

The media and/or liner are rewound onto a core as they are printed.
