5-3.Removing Jam

"Film jam between HPRO section and cooling/discharge section

The screen on the right shows the example where a ﬁlm jam occurs between the HPRO section (in the HPRO unit cover) and the cooling/discharge section. Follow the procedure below to remove the jammed ﬁlm.

Caution on High Temperatures

The temperature around the HPRO section and the cooling/discharge section may reach 80 °C (176 °F) or over. Before removing the jammed ﬁlm, allow those sections to cool off.

(1)Hold the green handle of the release lever and raise it leftward.

(2)Turn the handle on the HPRO unit cover counter- clockwise.

The ﬁlm in the HPRO unit cover is transported into the cooling / discharge section.
