HANDLING AND STORAGE OF DRY FILM

Konica Dry Laser Imaging Film SD-P/SD-PC are medical film which does not need so called "Wet Process".

In order to achieve the best possible result under various conditions of use, please pay attention to the storage of the film as described below.

1.Handling and Storage of Unexposed Film

In the same manner as used for the normal medical film, please store the unexposed Dry Laser Imaging Film in a dark and cool place (10~23;(50~73,)) which is protected from the influence of various radiation, with the package being sealed.

Attention should be given to the case that the film is kept and stored in a place where the temperature is 30;(86,) or higher, which may cause variations in the quality.

In the case that the film is stored in a film warehouse, please store the film where the temperature rise is less expected.

2.Handling and Storage of Developed Film

1)Heat processing film is rather sensitive to the high temperature and the intensive light even after the development.

For a long period of storage, please put the film in a film bag or the similar, and store it under the condition, 25;(77,) or lower. Higher the storage temperature, higher the risk of density increase or discoloration.

2)If the storage temperature exceeds 40;(104,), it may cause density variation or discoloration within a short period of time.

Please avoid leaving the film in a car under the sun shine or use of slide projector, etc..

3)In addition to the temperature, exposure to an intensive light results in an adverse effect on the image quality. Please pay attention not to leave the film on the light box for a long period, which may cause the quality variation through the storage afterwards.

4)The image of Konica Dry Laser Imager Film may be affected by alcohol or developing chemicals, and may result in an inconsistent density.

However, due to the feature that it is less affected by moisture, dirt on the film surface can be cleaned using a cloth moistened with water.
