Basic Network Installation

Information Checklist

Before starting the basic network installation procedures, please ensure the following items are available or have been performed:

An existing operational network utilizing TCP/IP is required, these		Customer
procedures are not designed to install a network.

If you are going to configure TCP/IP manually, you need to obtain and		Customer
record the following information:
•	TCP/IP Address:
•	Gateway Address:
•	Subnet Mask Address:
• Primary DNS Server Address:
Refer to the Glossary for additional information on the Gateway
Address, Subnet Mask Address and Primary DNS, if needed.

Test the WorkCentre PE120i to ensure it is installed fully and		Customer
functioning correctly.

CAUTION: Do not connect the network cable to the WorkCentre PE120i until instructed to do so.
