Wireless Telephone Status

SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway Administration Guide

Name: Person or name associated with the line for identification purposes.

Extension: Extension number associated with the line for identification purposes.

Status: Status of the lines from the host telephone system (PBX) to the SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway.

In Sync: Indicates there is communication between the SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway and the PBX.

NoSync: Indicates there is no communication between the SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway and the PBX. Check to see if PBX ports are correctly configured. Check connections between the PBX and the SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway.

Unconf: The line is not configured. Phone: Status or activity of the handset.

NoChkIn: The handset has not checked in with an AP. It is out of range or powered off.

ChkIn: The handset has checked in and is in communication with an AP.

In Call: The handset is in use.

#Calls / Duration: The total number of calls made on this line since the system was brought up, and the total duration of the calls.

System Uptime: Length of time the SpectraLink 8000 Telephony

Gateway has been powered on.

Wireless Telephone Status

Each SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway tracks its handsets’ activity and provides this information through the Wireless Telephone Status screen.

These stats are used to help determine the source of audio quality problems.

From the System Status Menu, select Wireless Telephone Status. The SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway displays up to 16 lines. A sample SpectraLink 8000 Telephony Gateway screen is displayed here.
