To search for a station quickly (Auto Search)
Keep the W DOWN or UP H button pressed until the tuner starts searching for a station. After tuning in to a station, the search stops.
To stop the Auto Search manually, press the W DOWN or UP
W button.
●The Auto Search may not stop at stations with very weak signals.
When an FM stereo broadcast contains noise
Press the MODE TUNER button while pressing the SHIFT button on the remote control to display “MONO. + ❑
Noise is reduced, although reception is monaural.
To restore stereo reception, press the buttons so that “MONO disappears,
To change the AM (MW) tuning interval
The AM (MW) tuning interval can be set to 9 kHz/step or 10 kHz/ step. The default setting are shown below.
U and LH models: 10 kHz
K model: 9 kHz
If you use this unit in an area where the frequency allocation system is different from the default one, change the tuning interval as follows.
Press the POWER button while pressing the +- button.
To reset the interval, repeat this procedure.
●When the AM (MW) tuning interval is changed, all preset stations (see page 20) are cleared. The preset stations have to be set again.
