Control Panel

No		Button name	Function
1	Rcv.mode/Darkness		This button has two functions:
			When no document is loaded, pressing this button changes the Receive
			Mode.
			When a document is loaded, the pressing this button changes the con-
			trast.
2	Resolution		Improves the clarity of a document you are sending.
3	Cartridge Change		Used to install a new cartridge or replace an old one.
4	My Favorites		Used to store the document used frequently and send it conveniently.
5	Answer(SF-365TP only)		Switches the TAM mode on/off. It lights when in TAM Mode and
			blinks when a new message is received.
6	Greeting(SF-365TP only)		Use to record or play the outgoing message used in TAM Mode.
7	Play/Record (SF-365TP only)		Plays incoming messages. Used to record a phone conversation.
8	Erase (SF-365TP only)		Used to erase a message or all messages.
9			Used to repeat the current message, or to skip back to the previous one.
10			Used to skip forward to the next message.
11	Number keypad		Dial numbers manually as you would usually do with the telephone, or
			enter letters while setting up your machine.
12	Symbols		Used to enter special characters when entering a name in edit mode.
13	Phone Book		To search for a number in memory.
14	Redial/Pause		Used to redial the last number called. You can also use it to add a pause
			while storing a number in memory.
15	Mute		To mute the phone while you are speaking via the microphone.
16	Speaker Phone (or On Hook Dial)a		Used to speak without picking up the handset, or dial numbers.
17	Menu		Used to choose special functions such as system setup and mainte-
			nance, etc.
18	Scroll		Used to display the previous or next menu item, to adjust the volume, or
			to move the cursor to the digit you want to edit.
19	OK		Used to activate the selection shown in the display.
20	Back		Used to return to the previous menu level.
21	Start Copy		Used to copy a document.
