Clearing memory

You can selectively clear information stored in your machine’s memory.

1Press Menu repeatedly until MEMORY CLEAR appears, and press OK.

The display shows the type of information you can clear from memory.

2Select what you want to delete by pressing Scroll buttons, and press OK.

3Select ‘Y’ and press OK when the machine asks if you are sure.

System ID

Delete your system ID.

 

 

Dial/Schedule

Clear the stored numbers in the Phonebook. In addition, all the Scheduled Jobs are also cancelled.

 

 

Journal

Clear all records of transmissions and receptions.

 

 

Default System

Restore user-selectable options to factory default value.

 

 

User options

Your fax machine has various user-selectable features. These options are preset at the factory, but you may need to change them.To find out how the options are currently set, print the System Data List. For more information on printing a report, See "To print a report" on page 6.4.

Setting system/TAM options

The System Setup includes settings related to fax operation, and TAM Setup has settings related to answering machine operations.

1Press Menu.

2Select SETUP SYSTEM or SETUP TAM (SF-365TP only) by pressing Scroll buttons.

3Press OK to enter specified Setup mode.

4Scroll up or down by pressing Scroll buttons to select the option you want to change.

5Press OK when the option you want appears in the display.

6Press Scroll buttons to choose the desired status.

7Press OK for the status you want.

To exit Setup mode at any time, press Stop/Clear.

When you press Stop/Clear, the machine stores the options you’ve changed, and returns to the Standby Mode.
