1.Turn on the VCR and peripheral devices.
2.Load a cassette with the erasure prevention tab intact.
3.Press the MENU button. The Main menu appears.
4.Turn the JOG dial to select RECORDING SET UP, and then turn the SHUTTLE ring right. The Recording Set Up menu appears.
5.Turn the JOG dial to select SUPER RESOLUTION, and then turn the SHUTTLE ring right.
6.Turn the JOG dial to select ON, and then turn the SHUTTLE ring right.
7.Press the MENU button. The day and time display appears on the screen.
8.Press the REC/PLAY MODE button to select the desired recording mode. Refer to Table D for recording and playback times.
9.Press the REC button to begin recording.
10.Press the STOP button to stop recording.
Keep the following in mind:
•Press the PAUSE button to momentarily stop recording. Press again to resume recording.
•To protect the tape, pause mode is automatically cancelled after about five minutes.
•If the tape you insert in the VCR has the erase prevention tab removed, the VCR will eject it if you try recording on it.
•The REC button will not work unless the VCR is in stop or pause mode.
•A tape recorded on this VCR may or may not play back correctly on another VCR.
