Advanced Features

Search with Picture

When you set Search w/ Picture setting to ON, it allows you to search (FWD/REW) your D-VHS recording with picture. If you turn this setting OFF, you will not see any picture while ÒsearchingÓ. It is preset to ON at the factory.

3Complete steps 1 and 2 on page 60. Customize choices menu appears. Turn the ADJUST dial to select Go to next page. Turn the SHUTTLE ring to the right.

4Press the ADJUST buttons to select Search w/ Picture. Turn the SHUTTLE ring to the right to select ON or OFF.

5Press MENU twice to exit the menus.

IMPORTANT

Even if you set Search w/ Picture to ON, there may be instances where there will be a frozen picture or no picture while you search. This is due to the signal that was recorded. This is not a defect of the D-VHS.
