HUE: Adjusts the color tint of an image. The adjustable range is from –7 to +7. The red tint increases in the

+direction, and the green tint increases in the – direction.

The PICTURE menu is used to adjust the picture quality.

Adjusting and Setting With Menus

DETAIL

Select the image enhancer level.

The adjustable level is in the range of 0 to 15. The larger the setting level, the sharper the image outline. You can obtain the softest image outline by selecting level 0.

SKINTONE DETAIL

Makes wrinkles inconspicuous by suppressing the image enhancer in the skin-colored area of an object. Type 1: The range of color recognized as skin color is

narrow.

Type 2: The range of color recognized as skin color is between those of Type 1 and 3.

Type 3: The range of color recognized as skin color is extensive.

OFF: The SKINTONE DETAIL function is disabled.

GAMMA

Select the gamma curb of the camera.

NORMAL: The object is shot using normal gamma curb.

CINEMA: The object is shot using a gamma curb to reproduce a film-like picture with a natural tone.

FLICKER CANCEL

When this item is set to ON, picture blurs (flicker) can be reduced even when shooting under a 50Hz fluorescent light. Set it to OFF to disable this feature.

Note

The FLICKER CANCEL feature may have no effect depending on the type of light source.

STEADY SHOT

You can select the effects of picture blur compensation. OFF: Disables the picture blur compensation depending

on shooting conditions.

SOFT: Sets picture blur compensation with the exception of natural blur.
