CM9760-MDA-X Same as CM9760-MDA except 230 VAC, 50 Hz (CE)

MOUNTING

VERY IMPORTANT: If you are going to use RS-232 communication, you must open the case to set the DIP switchesÑdo so BEFORE mounting the MDA unit in the rack. See the section on Communication Ports Setup and the section on Connect- ing the MDA to an External PC for information.

Install the MDA in a standard 19-inch (48.26 cm) equipment rack using standard mounting hardware. The MDA occupies 5.25 inches (13.34 cm) of vertical space, or three RU (rack units).

COMMUNICATION

Communication between MDA units, System 9760 CC1 (controller), System 9740 CC1 (con- troller), KBD200A or KBD300A keyboard, or a host PC is accomplished using serial RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 transceivers that can be configured by DIP switches on the PCB (printed circuit board). The factory default for both COM 1 and COM 2 ports is RS-422.
