HOW TO DISABLE THE SAFETY KEY

If your INCLINE TRAINER is connected to a 120-volt circuit, you can disable the safety key so the INCLINE TRAINER does not require the use of a key. If your

INCLINE TRAINER is connected to a 220-volt cir- cuit, you cannot disable the safety key.

Remove the key from the console.

Make sure the key is not inserted into the console; the main display will appear blank.

Hold down the ENTER button and the CLEAR button simultaneously for two seconds to se- lect the maintenance mode.

When the maintenance mode is selected, the words MAINTENANCE MODE will appear in the main display.

Press the ENTER button repeatedly to enable or disable the safety key.

Press the Enter button repeatedly until the words SAFETY KEY ENABLED appear in the main dis- play.

To allow the INCLINE TRAINER to be used with- out the safety key, press the + or – button until the words SAFETY KEY DISABLED appear. Note: The next time the key is inserted into the console, the safety key will automatically be enabled and the console will require the use of the safety key again.

To require the use of the safety key with the con- sole, press the + or – button above the ENTER button until the words SAFETY KEY ENABLED appear in the main display, or insert the key into the console.

Hold down the ENTER button and the CLEAR button simultaneously for two seconds to exit the maintenance mode.

To exit the maintenance mode, hold down the ENTER button and the CLEAR button simultane- ously for two seconds.
