Workout Options

CAUTION: Before beginning any fitness program, see your physician for a complete physical examination. Know your physician-recommended heart rate target zone.

1. Turn the unit ON. The Precor banner appears in the display.

2.Step on the treadmill.

3.Face the display, and then straddle the running belt.

4.Attach the security clip to your clothing.

5.Hold on to the handrail with one hand.

6.Select one of the following options:

Option 1: Use the QUICKSTART key

Choose this option to start your workout immediately. Refer to Choosing QUICKSTART.

Option 2: Use the USER1 or USER2 key

Select USER1 or USER2 to personalize your workout session. Preferences are stored with your user ID and reapplied the next time you select the same one.

Choosing a user ID enables the treadmill to identify you and remember your last program, workout time, weight, age, and other information specific to the chosen program. A second user ID allows a second person to customize, store, and retrieve workout selections. Refer to Selecting a User ID.

Option 3: Use the ENTER key

Choose this option for a customized approach. The display walks you through the preferences for a program, workout time, weight, and age. Workout session information is not retained for future retrieval. Refer to Selecting a Program.

Important: If password protection is enabled, you will need to enter a password to begin your workout. At the password prompt, press the following keys in sequence:

INCLINE ▼, SPEED ▼, SPEED ▲.
