Electrical Shock Or Personal Injury Hazard

Disconnect electrical supply before ser- vicing or cleaning the unit. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or per- sonal injury from cleaner suddenly start- ing.

TO CHECK BRUSHES:

➢When brushes are worn to the level of the base support bar, replace the brush dowel.

TO REPLACE BRUSH DOWEL

➢Remove POWER NOZZLE cover, belt and agitator assembly. (See “REMOVING BELT”).

➢Remove agitator supports, washers, screws, end brush, brush sprocket, and brush sprocket flange from ends of agitator assembly.

➢Replace brush dowel.

➢Reassemble agitator assembly.

➢To line up screw holes in dowel, sprocket and end brush, be sure the brush portion of end brush lines up with brushes on brush dowel.

➢Replace belt, agitator assembly and POWER NOZZLE cover screws. (See “REPLACING BELT”).
