Skinny Station Registration Process

Cisco IP Phones communicate with Cisco CallManager using the Cisco Skinny Station Protocol. The registration process allows a Skinny Station, such as a Cisco IP Phone, to inform

Cisco CallManager of its existence and to make calling possible. The following figure shows the different messages that are exchanged between the Cisco IP Phone (the “station”) and the Cisco CallManager.
