Deleting a directory entry

Use the following steps to delete a directory entry.

1.When the telephone is idle, press DIR/ to enter the directory.

2.Press DIR/ or CID/ to scroll through the directory entries.

Press the dial pad key for the first character of the entry you wish to review until the character you are looking for is displayed. Then press DIR/ or CID/ to scroll through the entries beginning with this character.

3.Press REMOVE (entry removal button) to delete the displayed entry. The screen shows DELETED with a confirmation tone and then returns to the directory.

4.Press FLASH to return to idle mode.

NOTE: Directory entries cannot be edited. If you need to change an entry you will need to delete the entry and re-enter the information.
