Useful Telephone Settings

Handset settings

Memo alarm

An alarm will sound for 3 minutes at the set time once or daily. 3 different alarms can be set. A text memo can also be displayed.

Set the date and time beforehand (page 11).

1Press $(centre of joystick).

2Select t, then press ,.

3Select “Memo Alarm”, then press ,.

4Push the joystick up or down repeatedly to select an alarm (1 to 3), then press ,.

LTimes and memos for previously set alarms will be displayed.

5Select an alarm mode, then press ,.

Off”: Turns the alarm off. Press ,, then press {ih} to finish.

Once”: The alarm will sound once at the set time. Enter the desired day and month by selecting 2 digits for each. “Daily”: An alarm will sound daily at the set time.

6Enter the desired hour and minute by selecting 2 digits for each.

7Press /repeatedly to select “AM”, “PM”, or 24-hour time entry, then press ,.

8Enter a text memo (32 characters max., page 56) and/or press ,.

9Select the ringer that will sound at the set time, then press , 2 times.

10 Press {ih}.

Note:

LTo stop the alarm, press any dial key.

LWhen in talk or intercom mode, the alarm will not sound until the call has ended.

LThe alarm will sound at the set time even when the ringer is turned off.

LIf you select “Once”, the setting will be changed to “Off” after the alarm sounds.

3Select “Ringer Option”, then press ,.

4Select “Ringer Volume”, then press ,.

5Push the joystick up or down repeatedly to select the desired volume.

6Press ,.

7 Press {ih}.

Note:

LWhen the ringer volume is set to off, ~is displayed.

LWhen the ringer volume is set to off, the handset will ring at the lowest volume for intercom calls and when paged.

Vibration feature

If the vibration feature is turned on, the handset will vibrate whenever a call is received, the unit is paged, or when an alarm sounds.

On”: The handset will vibrate while ringing.

VibRing”: The handset will vibrate 4 times, then ring.

Off”: Turns this feature off.

4Select “Vibration”, then press ,.

5Select the desired setting, then press ,.
