Adjusting ringer volume

1Press $(centre of joystick).

2Select u, then press ,.

3Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN). LIf you changed the PIN, enter it (page

32).

4Press ,2 times.

5Push the joystick up or down repeatedly to select the desired volume.

6Press ,.

7 Press {ih}.

Call Options

Changing the recall mode

Change the recall mode, if necessary, depending on the requirements of your service provider or PBX.

Important:

LIf this unit is connected to a PBX, an optional earth relay may need to be installed. Please consult our Panasonic Customer Care Helpline for more information. After installation you may select flash or earth mode to suit the requirements of your PBX or service provider.

2Select u, then press ,.

3Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN). LIf you changed the PIN, enter it (page

32).

4Select “Call Option”, then press ,2 times.

5Select the desired setting, then press ,.

LIf “Flash” is selected, next select flash type 1, 2, or 3, then press ,.

Type 1”: 700 ms

Type 2”: 80 ms

Type 3”: 400 ms

6Press {ih}.

Setting pause length

Change the pause length, if necessary, depending on the requirements of your service provider or PBX.

Short”: 3 sec.

Long”: 5 sec.

4Select “Call Option”, then press ,.

5Select “Pause Time”, then press ,.

6Select the desired setting, then press ,.

Storing/changing emergency numbers

These settings determine which phone numbers can be dialled while the call bar feature is on (page 27).

1Press $(centre of joystick).

2Select u, then press ,.

3Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN). LIf you changed the PIN, enter it (page

32).

4Select “Call Option”, then press ,.

5Select “Emergency Call”, then press ,.

6Select a memory location, then press ,.

LIf the memory location already contains an emergency number, the number is displayed.

7Enter/edit the number, then press ,.
