CHAPTER 6. Connecting C.O. Line

This chapter describes how to connect the C.O. line to the OfficeServ 7100 system after installation.

6.1 Line Conditions

Cautions for connecting C.O. lines are as follows:

yUs the cables with AWG #24 or AWG #26 thickness.

yWhen wiring cables in high-humidity areas, remove moisture before wiring.

yCables should be handled carefully to prevent any distortions or damages.

ySubscriber lines should be kept indoors if at all possible.

yDo not cable subscriber lines around any high-voltage power line.

Leak resistance for the C.O. line connected to the OfficeServ 7100 system is as follows:.
