CHAPTER 8. Starting the System

This chapter describes items to check before starting the OfficeServ 7100 system, the procedure for starting the system, and the procedure to test the operation of the system.

8.1 Pre-Check

This section describes items to check before starting the OfficeServ 7100 system.

8.1.1 Environment

yTemperature

Check if the room temperature is between 0°C and 40oC. If the room temperature is out of range from the normal operation temperature, install a heating/cooling device to maintain the normal operation temperature.

yHumidity

Check if the humidity of the room where the system is installed is between 10% and 90%. Take special caution since humidity affects the electric components and connectors of the system.

yDirect Sunlight and Dust

The room where the OfficeServ 7100 system is installed should be protected from direct sunlight and should have ventilation systems to prevent the system from malfunctioning due to dusts.
