Power Supply Preparations : Headphones

Using the rechargeable batteries (supplied)

The supplied rechargeable batteries must be charged before using this unit.

Nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries

ATT control (page 11)

Switch to [0 dB] when sound from an analog input is low. The standard setting is [-8 dB].

LINE IN terminal (page 10)

Use the supplied batteries or replacement batteries (RFKFHR162SA4).

Dry cell batteries

You cannot charge dry cell batteries.

To connect to the audio out terminals of AV equipment such as a video cassette recorder or television (sold separately).

To connect to digital equipment such as a DVD player (sold separately).

1 Press [BATT] on the right housing. The battery compartment lid will open.

Do not take off the battery lid.

To connect to the supplied AC adapter.

(Use only the supplied AC adapter. Use of other AC adapters with, for example, a different plug polarity is dangerous and can damage the unit)

Free-adjusting band (pages 8,14) The power turns on automatically when you put on the free-adjusting band.

2 Insert the supplied nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries.

Align the poles and correctly when inserting.

Push down on the pole spring when

inserting.

Remove the pole first when removing.

3 Close the battery compartment lid.

Insert the rib in the hole and close the battery compartment lid.

Push until it locks.

Pull up the free-adjusting band and check that the POWER lamp glows red. You can now use the headphones.
