After installing the outdoor unit, apply rust inhibitor on the internal pipes and heat exchanger.

––If you don’t apply rust inhibitor, airborne corrosive gas (such as sulfur compounds, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia) and salty dust may cause pipe corrosion which will lead to refrigerant leakage.

––Inspect the outdoor unit at least once a year and re-apply the rust inhibitor where it is damaged (worn out).

When applying the rust inhibitor, please be aware of the following: ––Turn off the power before spraying the rust inhibitor.

––Wear protective goggles and mask before spraying.
