OPERATING YOUR SEWING

MACHINE

Connecting Plugs

1.Insert the foot controller plug, located between the foot controller and the power supply plug on the cord, into the jack on the ma- chine.

2.Insert the power supply plug into an electrical outlet.

CAUTION:

1.When changing the light bulb or when the sewing machine is not in use, the power supply plug must be disconnected from the wall socket to avoid electrical hazards.

2.For U.S.A. only

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit com- pletely in the outlet, reverse the plug.

If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way.
