Service Diagnosis: Diagnostic Light Analysis

Problem or Symptom	Possible Cause	Probable Correction
	Bin is full	Use some ice
	Bin thermostat is closed	Check thermostat
	Power is off, check	If all Lights are out, check power supply,
	Lights.	restore power if off
	Transformer is open	If all Lights are out and there is power, check
Machine is off		transformer output for 24 vac
	Unit has been switched
	off or has finished a	Push and release Freeze button
	Clean cycle, Off Light is
	glowing
	Unit has Shut Down	Check for Refrigeration or Water Error
		Check water Light, if the Light blinks 2 times
	Water supply inadequate	and repeats, check the water inlet valve for
		proper water flow.**
Unit is off on a Water	Water pump malfunction	Check that pump hose is attached and if
		pump is plugged in and working.
Error
		Check float stem, reset machine. If it will not
	Water level sensor may	reset or gives another water error and
	have failed.	everything else is OK, replace the water level
		sensor.
	Low discharge or long	Check refrigeration Light. If the Light is
		glowing, there is a probable refrigeration
	freeze cycle
		problem - fan motor could have failed.
		Check refrigeration Light. If the Light blinks
		once and repeats, look for a harvest problem.
	Harvest problem	where some cubes were sensed.**
		Check refrigeration Light. If the Light blinks
		two times and repeats, look for a harvest
		problem. - no cubes sensed**
Unit is off on a
		Check refrigeration Light. If the Light blinks 3
Refrigeration Error
		times and then repeats, check for a reason for
	High Discharge Temp
		high discharge temperatures - fan motor hot
		ambient.
	Unit does not go into	Push and release Off button. Push and
		release Freeze button. Check operation.
	harvest - exceeds
		Push cube size float down and check
	maximum freeze time
		operation.
	Exceeds maximum	Check for cause of long harvest cycle**
	harvest time
Unit runs and both	Temperature sensors out	Replace the temperature sensor set (water
Diagnostic lites are ON	of range	and discharge).
Same, only 1 light on	Reservoir temp. wrong	Check water temp. and sensor.
