the Heated Drying Rack

Use the Heated Drying Rack for items that you do not want to tumble dry, such as sweaters. When you use the heated drying rack, the heated air inside the dryer flows in a

concentrated pattern to allow efficient and uniform drying. NOTE: Do not remove lint screen.

1.Open dryer door.

2.Slide dryer rack over the bottom of the dryer door opening. Push down to secure it on the frame.

3.Place wet items on top of the rack. Allow space around items for air to circulate. The rack does not move, but the drum will rotate. Make sure items do not hang over the edges or between rack grill.

4.Close dryer door.

5.Turn cycle knob to Time Dry.

6.Select a Dry Temp to match the fabrics in your load. Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried on a clothesline or by using Air Only. See "Cycle Guide".

7.Use TIME DRY to select the desired time. Select a time

by pressing MORE TIME or LESS TIME. Reset time as needed to complete drying. See "Cycle Guide".

8.Start the dryer.

To remove the drying rack, lift it straight up and out of the dryer.

NOTE: Check the lint screen and remove any lint

accumulated from items dried on the rack.

Changing the drum light (on some models)

1.Unplug dryer or disconnect power.

2.Open the dryer door. Locate the light bulb cover on the back wall of the dryer. Using a Phillips head screw driver, remove the screw located in the lower right-hand corner of the cover. Remove the cover.

3. Turn bulb counterclockwise. Replace the bulb with

a 10-watt appliance bulb only. Replace the cover and secure with the screw.

4. Plug in dryer or reconnect power.

Changing the EvenHeat TM Auto Dry Cycle

Settings to increase Drying Time

If all your loads on all Auto Dry cycles are consistently

not as dry as you would like, you may change the default settings to increase the default dryness level.

Your Auto Dry settings can be adjusted to adapt to

different installations, environmental conditions or personal preference. This change Js retained and will affect all

of your Auto Dry cycles, not just the current cycle!load. There are 3 drying settings, which are displayed using

the Cycle Status light (Wet, Damp, Cool Down LEDs)

1Factory preset dryness level.

2Slightly drier clothes, 15% more drying time.

3Much drier clothes, 30% more drying time.

To change the drying settings (on some models):

is running or paused. The dryer must be in standby mode (the Power button is off:) to adjust the default settings.

1.Before starting a cycle, press and hold the DRY TEMP button for 6 seconds.

2.Press the DRY TEMP button to select the dryness level shown in the cycle status light display: Wet light
