Using.CooktopCartridges
Cooktop cartridges, either conventional coil, glass-ceramic, solid element or
induction,canbeinstalledon eithersideofthe range.

To Install Cartridges

1.If thegrillelement,grill-rocksorgratesare inplace, removebeforeinstalling
a cooktop cartridge. Clean grill basin of any grease accumulation. (See page
16for cleaning recommendations.)
2.To installany of the optional cooktop cartridges,first besure control knobs
areturnedOFF. Position thecartridgeterminal plug towards the terminal
receptacle.Thisreceptacle is located at the front of theleft side and at the
backof theright sideof therange.
3.Slidethecartridge towardsthereceptacleuntil the cartridge terminal plug is
completelyengaged.
4. Lowertheoppositeendofthecartridgeinto therangetop until itis flushwith
thesurface. Yourcooktop isnow ready touse.

To Remove Cartridges

1. Controlknobs must bein theOFF positionand the cartridge should be cool
2.Lift up on the "tab" located on the cartridge until topof cartridgeclearsthe
openingontherangeby about 2 inches. Liftingthe cartridge too high while
st(l(engaged(nthe receptaclecould damage the terminal plug.
3. Todisengageterminal, hold cartridge by the sides and slideaway from the
terminal receptacle.Lift out when fully unplugged.
4. A storagetray, ModelA350,is availableand can beusedfor storing acartridge
(excepttheinduction cartridge).
5.Donotstack cartridgeswhere they may fall or be damaged. Never store other
materialson top of the glass-ceramiccartridgessincethis could damage or
marthe surface.
