Getting Started

MECS

MECS vehicles (1988 –1995) use either a 6-pin (with pigtail) or a 17-pin DLC. Use the MECS 6-pin adapter cable kit (P/N 9603) for both configurations. The MECS adapter cable kit includes jumper wires to connect to the MECS 17-pinDLC. The MECS adapter cable kit is not included with this tool. It is available through your dealer. Use the following diagrams to connect the adapter cable.
