Display

The scan tool uses a 4 line by 20 character, back-lit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). The large viewing area displays messages, instructions, and diagnostic information. The contrast can be adjusted.

Keyboard

The scan tool’s software is designed for ease in operating and navigating through menus. Do not use solvents such as alcohol to cle n he keypad or dis- play. Use a mild nonabrasive detergent and a soft cotton cloth. Do n t oak the keypad as water might find its way inside the scan ol.
