Printing the oscilloscope’s display

N O T E

To print the oscilloscope’s display:

1Connect a USB printer to either the USB port on the front panel or the rectangular USB host port on the rear panel. A list of supported printers is on page 318.

2Press the Print key (labeled Quick Print on older models) on the front panel.

3Press the Press to Print softkey.

The Print function remembers the screen you were on before you pressed the print key. The last menu visited will be shown in the printout. Therefore, if you have measurements (Amplitude, Frequency, etc.) showing on the display before you select Print, the measurements will be shown on the printout.

To print the display showing the Print Configuration Menu at the bottom, press the Print key twice, then press the Press to Print softkey.

Print options

You can print scale factors, print in color or grayscale, and choose whether to print the waveform on a separate sheet of paper (form feed) from the factors (if factors are selected). To conserve printer ink, you can invert the graticule colors so that the background is white instead of black.

The Print Configuration menu is displayed when you press the Print key. The print option softkeys and the Press to Print softkey are ghosted (not available) until a printer is connected.
