4 Triggering the Oscilloscope

Triggering on FlexRay Frames, Times, or Errors

Accessing the FlexRay Trigger Menu

1In the Trigger section on the front panel, press the More key.

2Press the Trigger softkey, and use the Entry knob to select

FlexRay.

3Press the Settings softkey to access the FlexRay Trigger Menu.

Triggering on FlexRay Frames

1In the FlexRay Trigger Menu (see “Accessing the FlexRay

Trigger Menu”on page 160), press the Trigger softkey, and use

the Entry knob to select Frame.

2Press the Frames softkey to access the FlexRay Frame Trigger

Menu.

3Press the CycCt Rep sof tkey, and use the Entry knob to select

the cycle count repeat value from 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64.

4Press the CycCt B as softkey, and use the Entry knob to select

the cycle count base value from 0 through the CycCt Rep value

minus 1, or All. For example, with a base value of 1 and a

repetition value of 16, the oscilloscope triggers on cycles 1,

17, 33, 49, and 65.
