2 During playback, press the II button at the point where you want to divide the track.

The unit enters the playback pause mode,

3 Press the EDIT button repeatedly until Divide? appears on the display.

4 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.

The unit plays repeatedly the 3 seconds after the point where you pressed the II button.

The point II is pressed.

When MONO is displayed, the 6 seconds after the point where you pressed the II button is played repeatedly.

5Adjust the point to be divided with the MULTI JOG dial or the ++ and - buttons referring to the playback sound.

6Within 1 minute, press the ENTER button.

An index mark is registered and the track number advances

by one.

When the MD is removed from the unit, TOC-EDIT flashes

and the entered title is registered.
