Call transfer using intercom

Use the intercom feature to transfer an outside call to another system handset or the telephone base.

To transfer an outside call:

									Intercom
1.	When on an outside call, press				OPTION	.
									Use BT Headset
2.	Press CID or DIR to highlight Intercom, then press								Equalizer
									Caller ID log
	SELECT		. The call is automatically put on hold.
										BACK	SELECT
	• If you have a two-handset system, the outside call is
		put on hold and your handset displays Calling other								INTERCOM
		handset. The other handset rings and displays Other							HANDSET		1
		handset is calling.							HANDSET		2
									HANDSET		3
	• If you have three or more handsets, your handset
										BACK	SELECT
		displays INTERCOM TO:
	•	Press		or DIR to select a destination handset and then press
				. Your handset displays Calling HANDSET X. The destination
		SELECT
		handset rings and displays HANDSET X is calling.
	-OR-
	•	Press 1-9 for HANDSET 1-9,TONE					and 0 for HANDSET 10,
		TONE		and 1 for HANDSET 11 or TONE				and 2 for HANDSET 12.

The destination handset rings and displays HANDSET X is calling.

3. To answer the intercom call on the other handset, press HOME/FLASH, /SPEAKER, CELL 1, CELL 2 or any dialing key (0-9or TONE ) on

the destination handset. Both handsets show Intercom and the outside call is still on hold.
