Suspend/Resume Alarms Command

The Suspend/Resume command is used to suspend or resume switch alarms for a given link. See Figure 3-9. Suspend the switch alarms if you are working on the switch link (or associated G3PD/server) and do not want to report an error if the Tserver connection is lost.

NOTE:

The G3PD will automatically activate alarms 4 minutes after being loaded.

If you were to suspend the alarms on switch Link 7 and select "OK", the Results screen, as shown in Figure 3-10, would be displayed on the client.
