About media server port connections

The following section explains how to connect the Ethernet ports on the back of the media server.

S8500 port connections

Use standard CAT5 cables with RJ45 connectors on each end to connect to the various ports. If the S8500 Media Server has only one port network, connect that port network through the dual NIC.
