From the Main Menu, select Status to display the Input/Output Status Menu, as
illustrated below.
Figure 3-13. MatrixPRO Input/Output Status Menu (sample)
This menu shows the current assignments of inputs to outputs. The 16x router can route
any input to any of 16 outputs. Please note:
When this menu is entered, the lowest 6 of the 16 input/output assignments will be
displayed.
The selector knob is used to scroll through the input/output display. Turning the
selector knob clockwise (CW) causes the display to drop the assignment for
channel 1 and show the assignment for channel 7.
This display will be updated whenever a new routing assignment is programmed
by pressing the Take key .
In the above sample display, numbers on the upper line represent input channel
numbers assigned to a fixed output channel (as shown on the lower line).
When an input is de-assigned from an output, that output will be "blanked," and
the output will be at ground potential.
When an output channel is "blanked" the dash character "-" will appear instead of
an input channel number.
