If you do NOT have a Belkin WPA Wireless Desk top or Wireless
Notebook Card and it is not equipped wit h WPA-enabled soft ware,
a file from Microsoft called “Windows XP Support Patch for Wireless
Protected Access” is avai lable for free dow nload�
Please note: The file that Micro soft has made ava ilable works only with
Windows XP� Other operating sy stems are not supp orted at this ti me�
Important: You also need to ensur e that the wireles s card manufactu rer
supports WPA and that you have downloaded an d installed the l atest
driver from their suppo rt site�
Supported Operating Systems:
• Windows XP Professional
• Windows XP Home Edition
setting up Windows XP Wireless network Utility to use WPa-PsK
In order to use WPA-PSK, e nsure you are usin g the Windows Wire less
Network Utility by doin g the following:
1� Under Windows XP, click “Star t > Control Panel >
Network Connections”�
2� Right-click on “Wireless Network Connect ion Properties” and
select “Properties”�
3� Clicking on the “Wireles s
Networks” tab will disp lay
the following screen�
Ensure the “Use Windows
to configure my wireles s
network settings” box
is checked�
