Chapter 4 System Startup and Basic System Configuration
Using RP Flash Memory Cards
Use the following procedure to copy a bootable image into the flash memory card:
Step 1 Boot the router.
Step 2 Enter the enable command and password (if prompted).

Step 3 Enter the copy command to copy the file (new.image in this example) from the server to the flash memory card in slot 0.
Milo# copy tftp:new.image slot0:new.image

In this example:
•The exclamation points (!!!) appear as the source file is being downloaded (copied) to the destination device.
•The C characters indicate that a CRC is being calculated during the downloading process. The CRC verifies that the file is correctly copied to the destination device (the flash memory card in slot 0).
