Creating a ROMPaq diskette

To create the diskette, follow this procedure:

1.Boot your system from the Compaq SmartStart and Support Software CD version 3.10 or higher.

2.Select Create Support Software from the Compaq System Utilities screen.

3.Select the appropriate option for your system from the Diskette Builder screen.

4.Follow the instructions on the screen to create the diskette.

Upgrading the firmware

To carry out the upgrade, follow this procedure:

1.Boot your system using the diskette.

2.Select Enter from the Welcome screen.

3.Select the drive from the list of programmable devices displayed on the Select a Device screen.

4.Select Enter from the Select a Device screen.

5.Review the Select an Image screen:
