Drive Configuration Options
Your Compaq SLR SLR Drive has been configured by Compaq to meet the requirements of the typical user. This chapter contains information on changing the default configuration.
Most of the drive’s options are controlled internally. However, the user has access to certain options via the jumper block located at the rear of the drive.
The options available to the user are:
■Selecting the SCSI ID
■Enabling/Disabling bus parity
■Testing
Locating the Jumper Block
Locate the jumper block at the rear of the drive.
