USETHE PROPER EXTENSION CORD. Make
sureyour extensioncord isingood condition.
Useonly a cord heavy enoughto carry the
currentyour productwilldraw. An undersized
cordwill cause a drop in line voltage resultingin
lossof power and overheating. A wire gage size
(A.W.G.) of at least 14 is recommended for an
extensioncord25 feet or less inlength.If in
doubt,use the next heavier gage. The smaller
thegage number,the heavierthe cord.
AVOID ACCIDENTAL STARTING. Besure
switchisoft whenpluggingin.
REMOVE WRENCHES AND ADJUSTING
KEYS. Get in the habit of checking -before
turningon tool - that hex I_eysand adjusting
wrenchesare removed fromtool.

CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Before using the

USE ONLY CORRECT BLADES. Use the right
blade size, style and cutting speed for the
material and the type of cut. Blade teeth should
point down toward the front of the table.
USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES, Using
improperaccessoriesmay riskinjury.
USE ONLY SEARS REPLACEMENT PARTS,
Allrepairs, whether electdcalor mechanical,
shouldbe made bya qualifiedservice technician
ata Searsstore or repair center.
KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE and ingood working
order.This includesthe blade guard, rivingknife,
andanti-kickback pawls.
CHECK DIRECTION OF FEED. Feed workinto
ablade orcutter against the directionof rotation
ofthe bladeorcutter only,
DISCONNECT ALL TOOLS. Whennot in use,
beforeservicing,or when changingattachments,
blades,bits, cutters, etc., all tools shouldbe
disconnectedfrom powersupply.
