INSTALLING THE REAR RAIL
See Figures 12-14.
,_ WARNING: Frontand rear railsmust be
installedand carefullyaligned to reduce the risk
of kickback. Kickbackcan resultin serious injury.
Fromthe carton,remove the rear rail and the
followinghardware:
6 squarehead bolts(5/16-18 x 1 in.)
6 flat washers (5/16 in.)
6 hex nuts(5/16-18)
Rightand left end caps for rear rail
2 screws(5/32-32 x 1/2in.)
Note: Remaininghardwarefrom this hardware bag is
usedfor installingthe front railand end caps.
At theback of thetable, put the square head bolts
inthe holes in the edge of the table and extensions
sothe bolt headsextend outward 1/2 in.
Underthe table, looselyattachwashers and hex
nutsonto bolts.Slidethe slot on the rearrail over
thebolts. Adjusteach bolt to fit therail closelyto
thetable.
Positionrailso that righthand edge extends 2-1/2
inchesbeyondtable extension.
Pushthe rail againsttable and tighten each nut with
a 12 mm wrench.
Ifthe railjams and does not slide easily over the
bolts,re-alignthe table extensions.
Putthe end caps on the rail ends. Insertthe screws
andtighten witha phillipshead screwdriver.
