Tryout this cut on a pieceof scrapwood before
cuttingyourworkpiece. Use a pushstickto movesmall
piecesof woodinto and past the blade.
_, WARNING: Make sure the blade guard is
loweredover blade and is working propedy to
preventpossibleinjury.
Set the bladeangle by loosening the bevel lock
handleand turning the bevel handwheel. Retighten
thebevel lock handle.
,_k WARNING: When makingabevel rip cut, the
dpfence must be on the rightside of the blade.
Otherwisethe fence could trap the workpiece,
possiblycausingkickbackand resulting in injury.
Attachthe dp fence on the'dght sideof the blade at
the correctdistancefrom the blade forthe cut.
Placea supportthe same heightas the top ofthe
sawtable behindthe saw for the cut work.
_1= WARNING: Never stand directly in the line of
cut. Stand to the side to reduce the chance of
injury should kickback occur.
Make surethe wood is clear ofthe blade before
turningon the saw. Insertthe key and liftthe switch
to the ON position.Let the blade obtainfull speed
beforefeeding theworkpiece intothe blade.
